Pleuger provides equipment for clean drinking water for Ukraine
12.10.2023 – In a concerted effort to bolster the water infrastructure in Odesa, Ukraine, Pleuger Industries, based in Hamburg, has dispatched 13 specialized pumps. This initiative aims to restore water supply to numerous households in the city.
These pumps will soon find their places in various pump rooms scattered across Odesa. As we deepen our collaboration, we eagerly anticipate amplifying our assistance to local authorities. Their invaluable insights will guide our future contributions to Odesa’s equipment needs.
The seeds of this generous donation stem from the enduring friendship between Rabbi Shlomo Bistritzky, the State Rabbi of Hamburg and Chairman of the Jewish Educational Centre Chabad, and Rabbi Avraham Wolff, the Chief Rabbi of Odesa.
Anton Schneerson, Pleuger Industries’ CEO, expressed his sentiments: “As a Ukrainian native, it fills me with pride to provide my fellow countrymen with the essential resource of clean drinking water. We’re privileged to employ Pleuger’s profound expertise in this domain to make a tangible difference. Our state-of-the-art equipment is set to reach Ukraine within the week. Our Chairman, Michael Flacks, supports the initiative as well as future projects for Ukraine.”
